Why are positive birth affirmations important?

Creating a positive birth experience is a wonderful gift to give to yourself and your baby. When you create a positive mindset it opens you up to a powerful energy that works wonders for labour and birth.

We always have a choice in how we think. We get to choose whether we think negative thoughts (fear, anger, rage, frustration etc) or positive thoughts (love, joy, excitement, hope etc). If our mind is filled with fear and frustration then our bodies will respond to that, if our minds are filled with hope and joy then our bodies will respond to that.

When it comes to giving birth we want our mind and body to work with positive thoughts so that our body and baby can work together in an environment of love, peace and joy.

When I was pregnant with my second child I loved listening to these positive affirmations for a calm pregnancy. I listened to them every week and they brought a great sense of peace, love, joy, courage, confidence, strength, trust and faith.
